Personal Interests

I began keeping a dream journal 35 years ago and am a founding member of a Chicago area dream group, which has been in existence for ten years. I am on the board of directors of the International Association for the Study of Dreams and have a dream website, LotusDream

I am a, runner, yoga practitioner, and meditator, attending Buddhist retreats at least twice a year.

I am the president of SPEAK (Supporting and Promoting Ethics for the Animal Kingdom), an all-volunteer national humane education speakers bureau.

I live with Gaia, a Shetland Sheepdog, Opus, an African Grey parrot, Darshan, a Welsh Pembroke Corgi, Bernadine, a Brazilian Cardinal, and Pandora the box turtle.

I also do TNR (trap, neuter, return for stray cats) in my spare time.
